Our dedicated Sixth Form teachers have put together short video presentations to allow you to further explore subjects that interest you.

Academic success is critical to your future, however we want students to leave St Aloysius' College Sixth Form with more than just a set of outstanding academic results. We ensure our students access enriching opportunities which aid both their personal development and employability. Increasingly employers and universities are seeking more than just academic qualifications; they are looking for interesting young people who can demonstrate a wide range of skills and knowledge.
Our Enrichment Programme allows students to dedicate one afternoon per week to a range of activities, such as;
- Job and University interview practice
- Employability workshops (e.g CV writing)
- Board games sessions
- Exercise (e.g Yoga classes or football games)
- Team building challenges
- Student run events (e.g fundraisers)
- Social events (e.g bowling or GoApe trips)
- Cooking on a University Budget workshops
- Money Matters sessions
- First Aid training
We also have weekly Breakfast Talks from industry experts, which this year has included professionals from Google, Arsenal FC, NHS England, Glaxo Smith Kline, Sky, and the Cabinet Office, with job roles including architects, doctors, engineers, brokers,

We are incredibly proud of the outstanding results our students have achieved in recent years, which continue to be above local and national outcomes. We are very grateful for the hard work and dedication of our teachers in supporting our students to achieve impressive grades upon which they can build successful futures.
2020 achievements include:
- 24% of A Level grades A* - A
- 54% of A Level grades A* - B
- 92% of A Level grades A* - C
- 100% of grades A* - E (100% pass rate!)

New for September 2021! After achieving national success with our school basketball teams year on year, we are opening our very own St Aloysius' College Basketball Academy!
Our Basketball Academy aims to provide accessible pathways with quality education alongside professional basketball coaching. We will support students in developing leadership skills, character and transferable life-skills through sports. Our overarching aim is to support our talented players to gain scholarships to basketball universities in the UK and USA.
As part of the Basketball Academy you will receive:
- Team training kit and tracksuit
- Professional coaching for 10 hours per week
- Weekly competitive games in college basketball leagues
- Regular Physiotherapy sessions
- Free access to the college gym and fitness suite
- Fitness strength and conditioning programmes designed and monitored for you
- The opportunity to gain Level 1 and Level 2 coaching qualifications
To be considered for the Basketball Academy, you must be enrolled in full time education at St Aloysius' College Sixth Form; either studying three A Levels or a BTEC course.
To apply to join the Basketball Academy please complete the Sixth Form Application Form via the Apply Now link at the top of this page. In March you will be interviewed for a place at St Sloysius' College Sixth Form. If you are offered a place at the Sixth Form you will be invited to try outs for the Basketball Academy in April.
February - We will email each applicant in February once we have reviewed all applications.
March - Applicants will be invited to interviews in March (please note: these will be virtual).
April - Applicants will receive an email with their offer of a place and further information regarding any conditions and enrolment instructions.
Thursday 12th August 2021 - After collecting your GCSE results all students must attend St Aloysius' College to formerly enrol, confirming your place at St Aloysius' College Sixth Form. Further information regarding timings and paperwork required will be emailed to you nearer the time.
