Offers of places for admission to Year 7 for September 2020 were be made by the local authority on the 2nd March 2020.
Have you been offered a place?
Once you have been offered a place with us the first step is to accept this offer through your Local Authority. Towards the end of March we will send you a letter with further information, including details of our Welcome Evening on Wednesday 20th May 2020.
You and your son will be invited to meet with our SLT members in June. Letters wil your individual meeting date and time will be sent in advance.
Our Year 6 Induction Day event is on Wednesday 8th July 2020. This is a very important event which enables students to meet their new teachers and peers, get to know the layout of the school and learn more about their secondary education at St Aloysius’ College. All students must attend this induction event.
All new students are expected to attend all three transition events and it is important you put these dates in your diary:
- Welcome Evening - Wednesday 20th May 2020
- Your individual June meeting with our Senior Leadership Team
- Induction Day - Wednesday 8th July 2020

If your child has been refused a place at the school, you have the right to appeal against the decision under the 1998 School Standards and Framework Act. The deadline for submitting an appeal is 29th March 2019 and the hearing will be within 40 school days of that date.

Boys transferring from Year 6 at primary school to Year 7 secondary school for September 2021 must apply through the London–wide admissions scheme. All applicants must submit the e-admissions online application to the Local Authority in which your child lives. The application process for September 2021 entry opened on 1st September 2020. Please check your Local Authority website for further information and guidance.
In addition, applicants must also complete our Supplementary Information Form (SIF) which can be found below. For those of other faiths, a baptismal certificate or a written declaration of practice from an official faith leader is required.
This form should be returned to St Aloysius’ College via post or in person by 25th October 2020.
The deadline to apply is Thursday 31st October 2020.
If you do not complete all forms (e-admissions and SIF) and return them by the closing date your application will be subject to the late application policy and the Governing Body may be unable to consider your application.
Offers of places for admission to Year 7 for September 2021 will be made by the local authority on 1st March 2021. Once parents/carers have been advised of their offer of a school, they should contact the Admissions Department of their local authority with any queries.
Please be aware that we will hold CAT Tests in September for boys who are interested in joining St Aloysius' College in September 2021. Please check this website or register your interest to be informed of the date.
If your son is musically gifted, he may qualify for a Music scholarship. Music auditions for Year 7, 2021 applicants will take place in December 2020. Please contact the Head of Music, Trevor Graham via firstname.lastname@example.org for more details and to book an audition place.

In Year Admissions Years 7 - 11
Applications for in-year admissions are made directly to the school. Applicants may be admitted to years 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 throughout the academic year if there is a place available. Please complete the 'Initial Contact Form' below and return it to St Aloysius' College in person, via post or via email.
