SCHOOL CLOSURE (Open to Select Students) - Please Click for Important Information

Dear Parents and Carers,

It is with regret that we have made the decision to partially close the school as of Friday 20th March, with the exception of the two student groups defined on our Covid-19 Updates page.

All communication during the period of closure and the reopening of the college will be communicated via the school website and emails to parents, the letters area of our website will be updated with all outgoing emails. Please read in full the information on the Covid-19 Updates page of our website.

Please be assured that we are committed to ensuring that we do all within our power to reduce the impact of the closure on students learning and attainment. We take this opportunity to thank you for your ongoing support during this challenging period.

I am aware that the present situation is a cause of worry for parents and as a school we are seeking to provide as much support as we can to students and parents at this difficult time.

As you will be aware, sufficient resources and work have been uploaded onto Show My Homework in order that all students can work at home and all completed work should be kept safe in order that this can be marked upon return to school. Your son will have the passwords needed to access these resources. Your son has also been given a copy of our curriculum booklet and an extra exercise book to complete work assigned. In addition, your son has access to the following online resources:

Please encourage your son to visit the Student Hub on the College’s website for additional online links to support their learning.

Please see below the recommended amount of work that your son should be completing as a minimum:-

  • An hour of English, Science and Maths each day.
  • Two hours of their option subjects and RE per week.

Following Public Health England’s latest guidance, we have taken the decision to cancel all meetings, trips and visits until further notice. We are closely following the guidance from Public Health England, the local authority and the Diocese of Westminster.
