The team around coach Will Akuffo lifted the trophy after 4 fast-paced quarters of great quality basketball. They beat their opponents Milton Keynes Breakers 78-70 in Manchester's NBPC sports hall, at times extending their lead to two-digit figures. Back at home, staff and students fired the boys on in the lunch and assembly halls, where the game was displayed on big screens.
