Year 11 Curriculum

The Curriculum Booklet gives an overview of the topics you will be learning in each of your subjects throughout the whole of Year 11 at St Aloysius.

COVID-19 Information

While exams will not happen, colleges/6th forms may test students on their GCSE knowledge and students may choose to sit an exam if they are unhappy with their calculated grade so we want our students to stay sharp and keep learning. We are striving to minimise the impact of this situation on our students and their futures - we want to ensure the years of hard work towards GCSE qualifications is truly recognised. Therefore, we expect all year 11 students to be completing:

  1. Course content - please see your Subject PLCs for a full list of topics
  2. Consolidation/revision work - ensure that you have learnt and retain subject knowledge
  3. Extension work - work that will stretch you and give you a foundation for A Level or BTEC subjects

Subject teachers have uploaded tasks and content to SMHW. Please contact your teacher through SMHW messenger with any queries.

Please read carefully the information in the 'GCSE, A level and BTEC Qualifications' section of this page.
