Sixth Form Open Evening - Tuesday 3rd December, 6pm-7:30pm

We would like to invite you to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Tuesday 3rd December, 6pm-7:30pm, with the Headteacher speech at 6:30pm

It is the time of year when year 11 students and their parents are considering Post 16 educational providers and courses. It is important that you choose a Sixth Form that meets your needs and provides you with the best possible academic, pastoral and enrichment opportunities, including high quality progression guidance on careers, universities, apprenticeships and work experience.

Our 2019 results show that not only have our progress measures at GCSE placed us in the top 10 Catholic Boys Schools nationally, St Aloysius’ College community also celebrated excellent A Level results with a 100% pass rate. Exceptional performances were seen in Maths with 30% A*A grades, Chemistry with 75% A*B grades, and 100% A*-C grades in English, Physics, Geography, Music Technology and PE, with further strong performances in other subjects. This has enabled above national average Russell Group admissions.

Students were delighted with their grades with many securing exceptional results and places on competitive courses at top universities, with twice the national average securing offers at Russell Group universities.  Our students progressed onto high-value courses including Biochemistry at University of Manchester, Spanish at UCL, and Mathematics and Computer Science at Queen Mary University of London. We are exceptionally proud of all of them.

We would like to invite you to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Tuesday 3rd December, 6pm-7:30pm.

This event will provide you with an opportunity to discuss A Level and vocational subjects with our Sixth Form team. Representatives from Universities (including the University of Cambridge, University of Durham and Newcastle University), will be in attendance should you have any questions regarding Post 18 education and pathways.
