St. Aloysius' College is a partner of the Islington 6th Form Consortium
St.Aloysius' College 6th Form was reintroduced as part of the Islington 6th form Consortium (IC6) in September 2010. We currently have a large and thriving cohort, including both boys and girls, who are producing great results.
As St Aloysius College is part of the Islington Sixth form Consortium our students have access to a wider selection of curriculum and facilities, with many opting to travel between Highbury Fields, Highbury Grove and Central Foundation. At St Aloysius College site our current curriculum offer includes the following 17 AS and A Levels:-
- Sciences : Chemistry, Physics, Biology
- Humanities: English, History, Philosophy, Geography, Government and Politics
- Languages : French & Spanish
- Business Studies
- Music Technology
- Fine Art, Graphics
As well as OCR National Diploma Level 3 in ICT and BTEC Level 3 in Sports Coaching and Development course in collaboration with Arsenal Football Club.
We are seeking to expand our provision in September 2013, to include BTEC Level 3s in Business and Science.
Feedback from students and their parents has been positive. Students have informed us they are learning skills that will benefit them throughout their lives' and enjoying their learning experience. Many parents have also informed us of their preference for their sons/daughters to continue their further education with us, and that their sons /daughters feel in a safe and caring environment in the full knowledge that their children will succeed academically.
Our first cohort of students has now completed their sixth form education with us and had great success, with many now at University. We have students who have gained places at Loughborough University, London College of Communication and Southampton University, studying a range of courses including Chemical Engineering, Architecture, Graphical Design and Marketing. We are extremely proud of their achievements and wish them all the very best with their future accomplishments.

"I spent 5 years at St Aloysius, from year 7 until year 11 and I have entered the 6th form with an open and mature mindset. The skills I have learnt at IC6 have set me up for later life. I would recommend IC6 to any person who wants to mature and achieve grades that they deserve."
Conor Nilan - studying History, Geography, DT and Maths
